Candice Rosevear is a principal in the Labor and Employment, and Securities and Valuation practices at Global Economics Group.
Ms. Rosevear has over a decade of experience and has been engaged as an expert economist and consultant on various matters, including wage and hour disputes (FLSA class actions and PAGA representative actions), employment discrimination, securities fraud, market manipulation and valuation. She has submitted expert reports and expert declarations to various federal and state courts.
Her technical expertise includes, for example, the analysis of human resource data, timecard data, building access data and driving distance data to estimate liability, penalties and damages; the development of financial models to analyze volatility and pricing behavior for a wide range of securities by applying market models, intraday event studies, GARCH models and statistical tests for structural breaks; and, the valuation of financial instruments including swaps, options and other financially engineered products by applying Black-Scholes, binomial trees and Monte Carlo methods.
She has extensive experience building, managing and analyzing large and complex multi-dimensional databases on high profile cases, including the AMD v. Intel antitrust litigation, and is proficient in SAS, Stata, Python and R software.
In addition, she is the head of Global Economics Group’s Data Analytics practice, which provides private consulting services to companies, helping them make informed, data-driven decisions and reduce litigation and regulatory risk. The Analytics team includes data scientists, economists and mathematicians, with expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, explainable AI (xAI), and other powerful data science methods.
Prior to joining Global Economics Group, Candice was a Managing Consultant at Navigant Economics. Prior to that, she worked at Chicago Partners (an economics consulting firm) and the Indiana Supreme Court.
Candice holds an M.B.A. in Economics, Finance, and Econometrics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in business, magna cum laude, from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis.
